AGILE has been a unique and successful space mission of the Italian Space Agency (ASI), with the programmatic and technical contribution of INAF and INFN. MAGIC is a ground-based Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov Telescope (IACT) for studying the sky in gamma rays in the very high energy gamma-ray domain.
