Description
LHAASO is a large hybrid extensive air shower array being constructed at Haizi Mountain, 4410 m a.s.l., in China. It has an excellent sensitivity for gamma-rays with energies from sub-TeV 10 PeV and also has a large field of view that can continuously monitor a large fraction of sky with declination from -20 degree to 80 degree since 2020. In this talk, we will report the status and recent achieved highlight science results in gamma-ray and cosmic ray observations. A prospect for the future observations and detector updating is also presented.
