Minutes:

Sushanta:

  • submitted 300M pythia events for 13TeV
  • will work on HM trigger
  • reports the multiplicity distribution and loss factor after HM trigger next week
  • Will add deuterons to the study (not only antideuterons)

Chiara:

  • There will be no in-Jet coalescence for high multiplicity in the paper
  • it would make the paper too long (would require e.g. protons in HM, etc...)
  • In our paper, we will assume that the in-Jet coalescence in HM is the same as in MB (which it is, we just cannot show it)

Luca:

  • Fit the EPOS p+pbar spectra with a Blast Wave fit (works very well) and a Levy-Tsallis (works very poorly)
  • EPOS events at 900 GeV: only 1M available -> need to run more
  • EPOS events at 13TeV: 300M events are about to be submitted to the LRZ, Ante needs to modify some code still)

Francesca:

  • made the p0 vs pT/A plot with added 13 TeV (MB and HM 1-3)
  • We will fit the p0 with a pol2 or pol3 (use pol2 for equal fit quality)

Bhawani:

  • started to learn how to calculate Wigner functions

Maxi:

  • Studied the physical properties of the different wave functions available
  • in this study, it was found, that the Hulthén that was used produced much too large deuteron radii (~50fm)
  • It turns out the Hulthen used by Kachelriess (with an additional 1/r factor) was indeed the correct Hulthén and the one used by us was only the Harmonic oscillator solution which is only one part of the deuteron wave function
  • all the other wave functions have reasonable physical properties
  • for the Gaussian wave functions only the deuteron radius could be calculated since they do not include a D-Wave
  • for the Hulthen a D-Wave function was used to calculate the Quadrupole moment and magnetic moment, but using it for actual coalescence predictions is not required, since the D-State probability is only ~5.6%, so not using it introduces only a small error
  • Will work on implementing the new source in EPOS
  • Will add deuterons (not only antideuterons)
  • redo the d+dbar spectra with recently completed 100M statistics and new proton fit.
