Description

In the last thirty years, participation of Latin American Physics in Subnuclear research has grown. In the Great Caribbean Region, the development of Mexico and Colombia is now expanding to Central America and Dominican Republic. The present situation and the programs of development open perspectives of collaboration with Italy, in particular with Frascati (DAΦNE), groups active at CERN and Astrophysics Groups. Some of these possibilities, on training of young physicists, were recently discussed in a Symposium on Postpandemic Latin American Science, and prompted this and similar presentations. They will be discussed, together with a new ambitious project of having in the region a second Latin American synchrotron.
