Description

SEMINARIO CHIAMATE DIRETTE

My main research field focuses on the design of metallic nanoparticles for a variety of applications ranging from catalysis to neuromorphic network using different numerical tools. In this seminar, I will try to highlight the fascinating peculiarities of the nanoworld and why there is hope in design it to improve their performance. Starting from our studies on structural transitions at the nanoscale, I will provide a clear example of how numerical tools can guide the design of nanocatalysts. In this effort, I will show the importance of using artificial intelligence tools (as machine learning) to develop new and more accurate strategies.
