Description
Since the early ‘90s, with the involvement in the LEP2 SRF cavity production and in the setting-up of the TESLA collaboration, INFN LASA SRF Group has been working on the development of Superconducting Radio-Frequency cavities for advanced accelerators in the framework of international collaborations. In this context, the experience of the group grew steadily through major projects such as Trasco/ADS, European-XFEL, ESS and PIP-II and as of today covers all the different aspects of this scientific challenge: design, fabrication, surface treatments and cold testing. The recent results from the Italian In-Kind contributions to ESS and PIP-II projects will be presented.
