Telegram Bot and Communications

During the hackathon, we will use a ticket-based communication centers to organize requests of technical support or questions on the topics discussed in the lectures.

For the participants, the interfacing will be via Telegram, which can be installed on any Android and Apple telephones, and (after you have associated a phone via one of the previous methods) via web interface, more useful if you want to share code or an error.

Once you have setup your Telegram account

  • join the channel "InfnTutorials";
  • type (only once, after having joined the channel) "/start";
  • at that point you can type your question / ask for help. 

If you cannot / do not want to use Telegram, you can use the mail address "".


The backend is provided by Zammad, a communication center that allows "call center" like operations, with tickets etc.

Especially, it will be used:

  1. during the standard hands on, to ask for technical help ("I cannot connect to the Jupyter")
  2. during the afternoon of Tuesday, during the "free time" in which you will be able to look again into the hands-on, modify them and ask for one-to-one help

But please, feel free to ask any question raised by the lectures and the hands-on.
