These meetings aim at collecting INFN people involved and interested in the software and Monte Carlo simulation activities at EIC and to discuss the coming developments.

The agenda of the meeting is based on a template that tries to cover as needes the various items of interest, namely

• software and tools
• vertex
• particle identification
• streaming readout

In each meeting we will have a short round-table discussion to exchange information and facilitate interaction among us. We will briefly discuss important items that will in case be brough to a larger attention and discussion with dedicated presentation at the following meeting.

These meetings are ALWAYS held on a weekly basis on Thursday at 9:30 AM. If you do not receive a notification email the meeting will be there anyway.

09:45 Porting of dRICH

Buongiorno Roberto,

ormai il giovedi, e in particolare la mattina, non sono in grado di partecipare
ai meeting, perche' ho un impegno praticamente settimanale ad ENEA/Frascati ed
e' difficile spostarto considerate le attuali restrizioni dei colleghi ENEA.

Ti aggiorno rapidamente sul porting del dRICh:

• con Guido abbiamo fatto il punto sul codice di Alessio che stiamo lentamente
  generalizzando. Abbiamo ancora qualche difficolta' ad implementare un metodo
  che permetta di passare in automatico la geometria usata nella simulazione;
  Guido intanto sta razionalizzando la lista delle variabili prodotte dal
  montecarlo che sono necessarie per l'analisi

• come hai visto si e' corretto un errore sulla libreria delle proprieta'
  ottiche dell'aerogel; ora i fotoni in aerogel escono dall'aerogel; l'abbiamo
  provato sia su escalate che f4a.

• ieri c'e' stata la riunione operativa del porting; Chris lavorera' fino al
  fine settimana sul consolodiamento dell'estrazione dei dati dalla
  simulazione f4a; Guido ed io speriamo di produrre una prima versione della
  classe di analisi entro un paio di settimane
