Hadronic Tau decays provide a unique opportunity to probe the coupling
of the weak current to the first and second generations of quarks to
an unprecedented precision. Recent results from Belle and BaBar
extracting the CKM matrix element |Vus| will be presented.

to Vus from precision measurements in the kaon sector and
