Description

Advanced LIGO of US has started the third observation run from April 1st, 2019, together with Advanced Virgo project at Cascina. The data taking is going well, and the gravitational wave signals are detected almost once per week.

This talk summarizes 1) old results in previous runs, 2) upgrade efforts to improve the detectors for the current run, 3) the summary of events observed in the current run, and 4) the future plan of the US ground based gravitational wave detectors.

The old data of previous runs are fully open now, and good new signal candidates are announced in public within several minutes of detection. A short summary of these data are also mentioned.
