Can we learn about cold dense phases of matter from holography?

Yes! In the talk I will argue the answer and give the basics of how to
construct, in the context of the gauge/gravity correspondence, a phase with
Higgsing of the local symmetry group; in QCD parlance this is a Color
Superconductor.
