The 10th ET Symposium will be hosted by the Club Hotel Marina Beach, Orosei, Sardinia, Italy, a conference center located in a few steps from the sea and 30km away from the Sos Enattos Mine, one of the candidate sites of Einstein Telescope.
Sardinia has three airports:
The main one is Cagliari airport (CAG), 220km from the ET meeting venue. The only way to reach Orosei from Cagliari airport is renting a car (2:30 travel time). The connections available from/to Cagliari are listed here: http://www.cagliariairport.it/en/destinations.html
The airport closest to Orosei is Olbia (OLB), 90km. It offers several international connections, mainly in the summer season. Connections are available here
A shuttle service can be requested in the registration form.
The third airport is Alghero (AHO), 186 km, mainly with national connections. In particular, there is a Ryanair flight from Pisa to Alghero the 10th of Aprile (11:45 am) and from Alghero to Pisa the 13th of April (11:00 am) that could serve the participants coming from the Virgo site. A shuttle service, under request in the registration form, will be organised in correspondence of that flights. The connections of the Alghero airport are listed here:
You can also arrive by ship at the port of Olbia.
