Conference Venue
In the following section you will find some information on how to reach the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".
From Rome Fiumicino "Leonardo Da Vinci" Airport: take the train to TERMINI (one way ticket fare is 14 Euro); trains run every 1/2 hour in peak hours, travelling time 35 minutes. Departures to TERMINI from AIRPORT from 7.00 am to 9.25 pm, departures to AIRPORT from TERMINI from 7.50 to 10.55 pm.
NOTE: Hotel Julia provides a shuttle service for Hotel guests from and to Fiumicino "Leonardo Da Vinci" airport at the cost of 10 Euro each way. See the web page of Hotel Julia in the section "location" for further details.
From Rome "Ciampino" Airport: take bus to ANAGNINA. Then take bus n. 500 or bus n. 20
TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRASPORTATIONS
Take Metro Line A all the way till the end stop “Anagnina”, where you have to change for Bus number 20. The bus terminal is just outside the metro station (go right when you exit), number 20 leaves from the last platform.
Get off bus 20 at the 6th stop, called “Sorbona”, and enter the pedestrian gate. At that point, you will be in the parking lot indicated in the bottom-right corner of the map of the building.
Reach the lecture hall G2C, as indicated in the map.
Tip: Make sure you buy an extra public-transport ticket for return, because there is no way to buy it at the conference site.

The cost of a ticket is 1.50 euro. This is called a B.I.T. ticket (Biglietto Integrato a Tempo, i.e. Integrated Ticket Time) and allows you to have a single ride on the metro plus two rides on the bus; you have to stamp yout ticket on the stamping machine every time you get on the bus (and when you enter the metro); the duration of the ticket is 100 minutes from the first stamping.
TRAVELLING BY CAR
Coming from the external lane of Grande Raccordo Anulare: Take the exit 20 Romanina Università di Tor Vergata and follow signs for Facoltà di Scienze (Division of Science). Coming from the internal lane of Grande Raccordo Anulare: Take the exit 19 motorway ROMA-NAPOLI / Università di Tor Vergata, after 150 metres turn right to Romanina, go straight on and then turn left following signs for Facoltà di Scienze (Division of Science).
