Aim of the meeting:
This informal meeting is intended for extensive discussions on phenomenological issues of mutual interest between the participants: mainly flavor physics, but also axion phenomenology and dark sectors. A certain number of more formal seminars will be open to the general audience. On Wednesday 27/6, 2:30pm in "Aula Salvini" Prof. G. Martinelli (U. La Sapienza) will deliver the General Seminar: "Flavor Physics for Non-Experts: (a Theory) Overview".
Speakers:
Tuesday 26/6, 2.30pm: Giuliano Panico (IFAE Barcellona)
"Flavor and Compositeness"
Wednesday 27/6, 10:00am: Federico Mescia (Barcellona Univ.)
"Present status of B anomalies"
Wednesday 27/6, 11:00am: Luca Di Luzio (Durham Univ.)
"From 321 to 4321: a Cabibbo mechanism for leptoquarks"
GENERAL SEMINAR
Wednesday June 27, 2:30pm
Guido Martinelli (Università di Roma `La Sapienza')
"Flavor Physics for Non-Experts: (a Theory) Overview"
Several aspects of flavour physics, including the recent experimental ``anomalies” in leptonic decays, are critically reviewed. New ideas to improve the accuracy of the theoretical predictions and future developments are discussed.
