Description
With the contemporary operation of the IceCube and Advanced LIGO facilities, we are now able to observe the universe using two new, distinct astrophysical messengers. In addition to photons from radio waves to gamma-rays, we can now, for the first time, simultaneously observe the sky with high-energy neutrinos and gravitational waves .
This new era of multimessenger astrophysics offers a unique view of the universe and provide powerful insights into the workings of some of the most energetic and enigmatic objects in the cosmos.
In this talk I will overview some of the possible high energy astrophysical sources.
