Description
We discuss and compare the TMD and the high-energy (k_T-dependent) factorization frameworks and their application to high-energy physics phenomenology, emphasising the role played by the TMD and the unintegrated parton densities, respectively. Several processes and observables relevant for the LHC are identified, which include transverse momentum spectra of Higgs and vector bosons for low p_T, and azimuthal correlations in the production of multiple jets associated with heavy bosons at large jet masses.
