I won the INFN post-doc fellowship in experimental physics in the INFN-LNGS about 2016-2017 related to Nuclear Astrophysics. In my talk I introduce my scientific background and my experiences, which I carried out in the Section of Ion Beam Physics of Atomki in Debrecen. My scientific activity is based on the application and development of Ion Beam Analytical (IBA) techniques (PIXE, PIGE, RBS, NRA) for multidisciplinary applications starting from the measurements of nuclear reaction cross sections relevant for IBA applications through the investigation of Cultural Heritage objects.
