Financial Assistance for Young & Senior Scientists

Financial Assistance for Young Investigators and Senior Scientists from Less-Favoured-Countries

Limited funds are available to assist Young Investigators and Researchers from Less-Favoured-Countries attending the Symposium by waiving the Symposium fee and the partial or total reimbursement of travel and living expenses depending on various factors.

Since the support might not cover all the costs, the applicant is asked to indicate which kind of additional support from other sources may allow his/her attendance at the Symposium.
 
Eligibility criteria:
 
¨   Young Investigators: Registered Students or Investigators within 5 years of receipt of their doctorate degree
¨   Senior Scientists from Less-Favoured-Countries: Scientists with more than 10 yr of doctorate coming from Less-Favoured Countries (see list below)
 
Applicants should fill in the online application Form (here available), print and  send it by email, as a pdf file, to the:

Along with the form, all the applicants should send (by email, as pdf files):
 
·  Curriculum Vitae
·  a list of publications
·  a supporting letter from the Head of Research Group, Department or Institute
·  the University Certificate or Supervisor Declaration (for Ph.D. Students).
·  the abstract of their contribution
 
In filling in the online Form, all foreseen procedure steps are requested:
- Type all requested details in the form
- Print the form as a pdf file by using the button “PRINT” inserted on the form,  and send it by  email along with all the above listed documents
- Important: In clicking on the button “PRINT” on the form, in parallel to the printing, an automatic procedure will be activated to send a copy of the filled form by email to MICROS2009 Conference Secretariat for internal use. To allow the success of the email sending, it will be necessary to answer positively to the questions will appear on the computer monitor.
 
All applicants will be informed about the outcome of the evaluation of their application by August 15, 2009.
