Description
The presentation will review the R&D effort on high gradient metallic RF structures. The most recent experimental results, as well as the state-of-the-art theoretical models which describe the mechanisms that limit the gradient, will be detailed. Materials, manufacturing, surface preparation techniques and rf processing methods to improve the RF performance will be discussed.
