Description
In the first half of the talk, I would provide a very brief overview of the inflationary models developed in large volume framework, and their status before BICEP2 observations. After discussing the positive aspects of those models, I would enumerate the challenges in the lights of recent BICEP2 claims. In the second half of the talk, I would discuss the embedding of a new Kim-Nilles-Peloso (KNP) type two-field axionic inflation in a large volume setup in which the inflation is driven by a
combination of orientifold even and odd RR axions, namely C0 and C2.
