Description
I will consider the problem of a one-dimensional quantum system
coupled to two different thermal baths at its ends.
First I will focus on the example of the Ising spin chain, characterizing
the stationary state, the energy flow and the statistics of its
fluctuations. I will present and discuss preliminary results for the
thermal current in the XXZ antiferromagnetic chain at the end of the talk.
