Relation between the self-dual Yang - Mills equations and a simple example of 5-dimensional nonlinear PDE associated with commuting vector fields

We consider a simple example of scalar five-dimensional integrable nonlinear PDE associated with commuting vector fields. It is shown that this equation is related with the four-dimensional SL(N) self-dual Yang - Mills equations through a special differential reduction followed by the Frobenius matrix reduction imposed on the matrix field.
