Description

I will review the status of massive neutrinos and lepton charge conservation using the available data on neutrinoless double beta decay. I will investigate the possibility to discriminate between different pairs of CP non-conserving mechanisms inducing the neutrinoless double beta decay by using data on half-lives of nuclei with largely different nuclear matrix elements (NMEs). The implications of the EXO lower bound on the half-life of 136Xe for the problem studied are also exploited (related papers: arXiv:1103.2434, arXiv:1212.1331).
