Physics is a form of art and beauty. Using specific developments in physics and works of art from various eras, I will draw explicit connections between scientific and artistic movements. There are fascinating connections between modern physics (Relativity and Quantum physics) and modern art. With cultural connections to literature and art we see how scientific concepts are tied to the intellectual climate of the time from which they arise. Artistic and scientific thinking are products of a shared culture, with different manifestations, like different fruits from a common soil.
