Description
At Laboratori Nazionali del Sud of INFN in Italy, a Tandem Van De Graaf
and a Superconducting Cyclotron are in operation since several years, in order to produce ion beams with energy respectively up to 7 MeV/amu and 80 MeV/amu. The “0 degree” multidisciplinary beam line has been set up for irradiation measurements both in air and in vacuum. For radiation damage of electronic devices, to be used for aerospace applications, a multi axis remote micro positioning system and on-line monitoring of relative and absolute dose absorption have been developed and employed in single event effects tests.
