Application procedure Early preregistrations are welcome! Deadline for preregistration and abstract submission July 15. Acceptance of short talks will be acknowledged by July 22. Deadline for final registration and payment August 31, 2013. After this deadline any further registration will be evaluated according to available places. To register it is required to provide these information: (i) full name, address, email, nationality (ii) present position and affiliation (iii) short curriculum studiorum To present a poster or a short talk, a 300 words abstract should be included in the registration form. For information requests please write to : gianni.pavan@unipv.it. Posters and short talks Every participant is welcome to submit a title and 300-word abstract for a poster. We will try to accommodate as many posters as we can, rotating them if necessary. Those who indicate on the registration form that they would like to give a brief (12 min + 3 min discussion) oral presentation during one of the sessions, will be entered into a competition over 9 slots for such presentations. The selected speakers will be notified in time and receive a reduction in registration fee. Poster should be a maximum of 100 cm high and 60 cm wide. Consider to arrange materials in columns rather than rows - this format is easier for viewers to read. Contribution Participation contribution is all-inclusive and covers not just lodging but all expenses, including registration for the conference, conference materials, meals (registrants will receive vouchers to eat in local restaurants), and transport to and from the airport (Trapani or Palermo) as well as a one-day trip scheduled during the conference. €500.00 for Scientists and Postdoctoral fellows with Ph.D (or other professional people) €400.00 for Graduate and Ph.D students €350.00 for Undergraduate students After the online registration a confirmation email will be sent with payment instructions. If the number of participants will be high enough, it will be possible to provide support to researchers coming from disadvantaged countries. News about this possibility will be given later.
