The Workshop wil be held at Centro Congressi Partenope, Via Partenope 36, Napoli. Via Partenope, on the most suggestive stretch of Naples coastal road, is located between Borgo Marinari and Via Santa Lucia, Castel dell'Ovo and Piazza del Plebiscito, in a very beautiful central area, which in the daytime is very well served by trams and buses.
How to reach Naples
Naples is located about 240 km south of Rome.
By plane:
Naples' international airport (Capodichino) has connections with all domestic destinations and the most important european airports. Bus line 3S connects the airport to the main train station, Napoli Centrale, every 30 min. A faster non-stop bus (Alibus) connects every 20 minutes the airport to the train station and the harbor.
By train:
Naples can be reached by train from Rome in about 1 hour and half. All the trains stop in the main station Napoli Centrale (or Napoli Piazza Garibaldi, in the same location, but underground).
By car:
From north take motorway A1 to Naples, take Tangenziale heading to Pozzuoli, take the exit Fuorigrotta. Follow the signs for NAPOLI CENTRO. After crossing the namesake gallery, you reach Mergellina. Going along Caracciolo promenade, you reach Via Partenope.
How to reach Via Partenope by public transportation
From train station (Napoli Centrale/Piazza Garibaldi):
Bus line: 151, stop: Via Chiatamone, Via Partenope is on the left in the direction of the sea, a 5 minutes walk.
From Capodichino Airport: Alibus (Piazza Municipio stop) then bus line R3 (Piazza Vittoria stop, a 10 minutes walk straight on the promenade tin the direction of the castle on the sea- Castel dell'Ovo-that you may see on from the street).
From Harbor: bus line R3 (P.zza Vittoria stop, 10 minutes walk straight on the promenade in the direction of Castel dell'Ovo).
Please note that Metro stations are quite far from Centro Congressi.
Metro line1 and Metro line2 stop in the city centre.
City transportations: Metro, buses, and all other public transportations can be taken with the same ticket Unico for a maximum of 90 minutes; the cost is 1,20 €.
