Description
One of the fundamental quantities of QCD at high temperature and density, and in the quark-gluon plasma in particular, is the equation of state, i.e. pressure, energy density end entropy as function of temperature. In the talk, recent results from lattice simulations on the apeNEXT of QCD at high temperature and non-vanishing baryon density will be presented and discussed. These results were obtained for QCD with two light and one strange quark with almost physical masses.
