The aim of the workshop is twofold:
1- Discussion on the development in the Standard Solar Model in the last two years especially concerning the metallicity and other parameters, such as the cross sections. Alternative approaches will also be taken into account.
2- Update of the experimental data on the solar neutrinos and the interpretation of the results.
In addition recent theoretical and experimental insights on the neutrino oscillation phenomena and the neutrino physics will also be discussed.
