The Prototaste@TO workshop is a focused, two-day workshop aimed at assessing and consolidating the scientific progress achieved within the PRIN22 Prototaste project and at generating a collective vision for future research directions.
The meeting is organized around three main macro-areas
-
Theory — highlighting conceptual advances and open issues, with an emphasis on stimulating discussion across theoretical framework of QCD factorization
-
Phenomenology — assessing the current status of phenomenological analyses, their interplay with theory and experiment, and identifying key challenges ahead
-
Methodology — examining the methodological tools and strategies for the statistical analyses of data and uncertainty estimations, and exploring avenues for further refinement and cross-fertilization
Each macro-area will include a series of contributions designed to summarize the state of the field, identify central open questions, and catalyze active discussion.
In addition, a session of short talks by local participants will showcase recent work from emerging researchers, further enriching the dialogue.
The format of the meeting emphasizes broad, forward-looking overviews and ample discussion time, with the explicit goal of fostering interaction, synthesis, and strategic planning for the next steps beyond the PRIN project.
