Description

EuPRAXIA, European Plasma Research Accelerator with Excellence in Applications (www.eupraxia-pp.org), is the first European project that develops a highly innovative particle accelerator research infrastructure (RI) based on plasma technologies. EuPRAXIA entered the ESFRI 2021 Roadmap for strategically important European RIs, currently being in its Preparatory Phase.

The aim of this meeting is to showcase how the wider EuPRAXIA project family (Preparatory Phase, Doctoral Network, PACRI - Plasma Accelerator Systems for Compact Research Infrastructures, the recently approved Early Implementation Phase, and related initiatives) is successfully exploiting synergies across other RIs (e.g. ELI-ERIC), different Horizon Europe, National and Regional funding streams to the benefit of a new distributed European RI.

Moreover, concrete opportunities for industrial engagement and co-development will be presented.

The meeting will:

  • present the status and successes across the different actions and identify opportunities for collaboration,
  • highlight good practice in cross-programme coordination and impact,
  • provide a basis for discussing future options in Horizon Europe and opportunities for the wider consortium, and for synergies with other existing RIs.

The meeting will be held in Brussels at the University Foundation, with the prospective Horizon Europe discussion starting at 9:30 and finishing at lunchtime. A detailed agenda will be shared nearer the event; a light lunch will be provided.

The event is by invitation only. For organisational reasons, attendees are requested to register by April, 3rd.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101079773. It is supported by in-kind contributions by its partners and by additional funding from UK and Switzerland.
