Privacy notice
The following information regarding the processing of personal data is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), in order to inform individuals who intend to participate in the International Workshop on Shape Coexistence, E0 Transitions, and Related Topics about how the personal data they provide are collected, used, accessed, or otherwise processed by INFN, including when such data are obtained from educational institutions, universities, or other public or private bodies. This notice explains how the data are collected, used, accessed, or otherwise processed by INFN.

Nature of the data processed and purposes of the processing
INFN processes the collected data to allow participation in and organization of the International Workshop on Shape Coexistence, E0 Transitions, and Related Topics, promoted and managed by the Institute in pursuit of its legitimate institutional interests and to ensure compliance with legal obligations related to the management of the event. Failure to provide the requested data may prevent participation in the event.
INFN may also collect certain special categories of personal data necessary to ensure the health and respect for the religious beliefs of the participants. Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to comply with these obligations.
INFN may also collect photographic images or audio/video recordings to document the event and for the purpose of dissemination and communication of the Institute’s activities. These materials may also be used, including in modified form and free of charge, in the gallery dedicated to the event or on INFN web pages and social media profiles.
In any case, no use of the materials is permitted that may be prejudicial to the honor, reputation, or dignity of the persons portrayed or recorded.
Consent to the processing of personal data is given freely; failure to provide consent will result in exclusion from video and photographic recordings.
For the organization of the event, INFN will use software and services provided by third parties, which will process the personal data of registered users in accordance with their respective privacy policies and terms of service provided at the time of account activation.
Source of the data
The personal data of individuals who intend to participate in educational or cultural initiatives promoted, organized, and managed by INFN structures may be provided directly by the data subjects or obtained from educational institutions, universities, or other public or private bodies.
Processing methods
INFN processes personal data, also with the aid of electronic or automated tools, in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. The data may be processed by INFN staff or collaborators, or by third parties expressly designated as data processors. The data will not be communicated or disclosed to third parties except in cases provided for by law.
