In the framework of the SABRE project it is crucial to perform ultra-high sensitivity ICP-MS measurement on NaI samples from powder and grown crystals. In particular, the Potassium contamination is an important source of background in SABRE. Sensitivities at the level of < 10 ppb are required. It is well known that ICP-MS Potassium measurements at this level are very difficult. Therefore, this collaboration program aims to enhance the sharing of expertise and workload between LNGS and Seastar.
