Description
The LHCb experiment is the first hadron collider experiment to be specifically dedicated to flavor physics, and has some unique features. The first LHCb run is being very successful, matching and surpassing the previous CDF performances, demonstrating the continuing promise of flavor physics in hadron collisions. We describe the status and prospects of the experiment, and possible contributions from Pisa.
