      • NIKHEF moved to Outer Tracker to cover disks, compensating the US leaving the  OT, which also caused the descoping from v2 to v3 (reduced acceptance, removal of half of the OT disks and the fwd TOF and fwd RICH)

        • Impact on Middle Layer mechanics. NIKHEF could consider using OT disk layout to contribute to ML disks.

        • Looking for additional effort on global mechanics design and production, stave mechanics design

        • INFN initial commitment for wheels (PD, PI, possible support from other sites)

        • CERN initial commitment only on Vertex Detector & global experiment mechanics

      • Jochen and Luciano’s visits

        • 14-15 January: Padova-Trieste

        • Next sites to be planned

        • Plan to present openly our resources but agree a strategy together before committing

      • News from Giunta INFN:

        • Compensating 2026 cuts is still under discussion

        • Future support to ALICE 3 will be discussed next week (10-15 January) with the giunta and the CSN presidents

      • Next steps:

        • Update each other for news after Jochen’s first visits

        • Agree on a coordinated commitment after the visits are completed
