DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Sultan Dabagov\, Frank Zimmerman (CERN)\, Luigi Palu
mbo (Sapienza Univ. & INFN)\n\nThe 11th International Conference "Charged
& Neutral Particles Channeling Phenomena" - Channeling 2026 is organised b
y the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN) and the Europe
an Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) on 20-25 September 2026 in Bri
ndisi (Italy) \nunder high sponsorship by\nSIF – Italian Physical Socie
ty\nin cooperation with and sponsored by\nSapienza University of Rome  //
   EPITA MARVEL*  //  X Channel  // AC ProSapientia\n \nThe series of
the International conference “Channeling – Charged & Neutral Particles
Channeling Phenomena” organised by the Italian National Institute for N
uclear Physics (INFN) in collaboration with other world research facilitie
s and research initiatives is devoted to the common discussion on advances
in physics of coherent/incoherent interaction of relativistic and nonrela
tivistic hadrons and leptons (protons\, ions\, electrons\, muons and relat
ed antiparticles) in strong electromagnetic fields of various origins and
structures\, from solid amorphous and crystalline\, to laser and plasma ba
sed ones. Since the first meeting\, the Channeling topics have been extend
ed over the interaction of radiations and beams (wide broad electromagneti
c radiations\, atoms\, and neutrons) in various structured media as well a
s meta-materials to be investigated at the channeling physics approach. Ma
in present applications of the channeling physics relate to the future acc
elerators\, storage rings and radiation optics projects. Channeling phenom
enology can be applied to describe other mechanisms of interaction of both
charged and neutral particle beams in external electromagnetic fields cas
ing the research areas from crystal and capillary based accelerators\, und
 ulators\, waveguides\, and x-ray/neutron micro- and nano-optical elements.
\nThe scope of the "Channeling" meeting is to attract the attention of res
earchers from many world laboratories specialising in accelerator physics\
, in radiation and nuclear physics\, in materials science\, biology and me
dicine to the   research on both relativistic particles and radiations in
teractions in strong electromagnetic fields that results in various applic
ations on advanced accelerator as well as radiation physics within the fol
lowing main conference topics:\n\ncoherent scattering of relativistic char
ged particles in strong electromagnetic fields\;\ncrystal channeling and r
elated phenomena for hadron and lepton beams\;\nenergetic ion interactions
processes (backscattering and channeling of low energy ions\, high energy
ion channeling)\;\nelectromagnetic radiation by relativistic charged part
icles in periodic structures (coherent bremsstrahlung\, channeling radiati
 on\, transition radiation\, diffraction radiation\, parametric x-ray radia
 tion\, LPM effect\, FEL\, Compton scattering\, Cherenkov radiation-based p
henomena\, quantum coherence radiation phenomena)\;\nchanneling of radiati
ons in capillary systems (micro- and nano-channeling\, micro-channel plate
s\, nanotubes\, nano-porous)\;\nnovel techniques for beams handling and ac
 celeration (channeling-based acceleration\, plasma wake-fields\, cross-las
 er fields\, crystal assisted collimation\, plasma-ion channels\, capillary
  channeling)\;\nadvanced x-ray & neutron optics (capillary/polycapillary o
ptics\, compound refractive optics\, micro- and nano-focusing\, beams and
radiations waveguides)\;\napplications based on channeling phenomena (beam
 s shaping\, positron sources\, powerful radiation sources\, diagnostic too
ls\, novel x-ray table-top instruments\, applications in material and biom
 edical studies\, etc.).\n\n \nAs a satellite meeting\, Channeling 2026 wi
ll host the next NanoAc workshop - NanoAc 2026 Workshop on Applications of
Nanostructures in the Field of Accelerator Physics. The NanoAc project br
ings together experts from various disciplines\, including plasma physics\
 , accelerator physics\, solid-state physics\, materials science\, computer
  science\, engineering\, industrial nanotechnology\, spectroscopy\, and ot
hers\, to address complex challenges in the use of nanostructured material
s in accelerator science.\nThe scientific program of Channeling 2026 will
be composed of invited reports and lectures as well as oral and poster pre
sentations and selected round tables. The organization of the event and th
e program will foresee and stimulate any kind of formal and informal discu
ssion.\n \n* Supported by the European Union’s Horizon Europe RIA progr
