CLFV2026 - The 5th International Conference on Charged Lepton Flavor Violation

Europe/Rome
Sapienza Università di Roma

Sapienza Università di Roma

Piazzale Aldo Moro 5, 00185 Rome, Italy
Description

The aim of the conference is to bring together theorists and experimentalists working in the complementary areas of lepton flavor physics, in order to assess the current status of the field and discuss future directions.

Over three days of plenary talks and focused discussions, participants will examine the theoretical status of charged lepton flavor violation models, review recent experimental results, and explore their implications for physics beyond the Standard Model. Searches for charged lepton flavor violation provide powerful probes of new physics, and the conference will highlight both established approaches and emerging ideas shaping the future of the field.

Scientific Highlights

  • CLFV with Muons
Recent advances in muon‑based searches, including μ→e conversion, μ→eγ, and μ→3e channels, with updates from ongoing and upcoming experiments.

  • Other CLFV searches
Searches for charged lepton flavor violation involving taus, kaons, and heavy mesons, as well as complementary probes at colliders and low-energy experiments.

  • Lepton‑Flavored Dark Matter
Theoretical frameworks linking dark matter to lepton flavor structure, and experimental strategies to probe these scenarios.

  • Current EDM Review
Status of electric dipole moment searches across multiple systems, their implications for CP violation, and their interplay with CLFV and BSM models.

  • Future facilities
Prospects for next-generation facilities and experiments, including high-intensity muon sources and novel detector and accelerator technologies.
