Description

We discuss charged lepton flavour violation within different variants of flavour symmetry models. While these models yield the same lepton mixing matrix at leading order, they generate the observed charged lepton mass hierarchy through three distinct mechanisms.

We examine CLFV three-body τ decays, the electric and magnetic dipole moments of the leptons, and the distinctive signals of flavons decaying into fermion pairs, emphasizing the crucial role of current and future experiments in testing and discriminating among different flavour models.
