Description

In this talk, I will present a study of photonic circular orbits in plasma-rich environments around black holes in Scalar-Tensor-Vector Gravity, based on a potential-based approach originally developed in General Relativity. This work extends the analysis of light propagation to the strong-field regime of Scalar-Tensor-Vector Gravity and provides a consistent theoretical framework within this context. It also allows one to assess possible deviations from General Relativity or, at least, to place constraints on the parameter that characterises this alternative theory of gravity.
