PTOLEMY is an ongoing project aiming at the challenging detection of the cosmic neutrino background. To achieve this, the PTOLEMY team is designing and building a specialized detector that can sense the presence of such neutrinos.

The yearly PTOLEMY meeting provides an opportunity for the team members to review progress on the project and assess its status in light of the ultimate goal of building a functioning PTOLEMY demonstrator. During this year's meeting, particular attention will be given to the construction of the magnet, which is an essential component of the detector.

By bringing together the expertise of scientists and researchers from a variety of disciplines, the PTOLEMY project aims to establish a foundation for increased understanding of the universe's fundamental particles and interactions. The challenges that the team faces are numerous, from developing innovative detection methods to ensuring that the hardware and software components of the detector work as expected. However, the project's dedication to pushing the limits of our knowledge of the cosmos makes it a promising avenue for exploration and discovery.

We aim at starting on Thursday early morning. Please, try to come on Wednesday evening. We can take the opportunity for one more dinner together.
