Description
We present new developments in the automated simulation of non-relativistic bound-state production within the MadGraph5_aMC@NLO framework. The MadSONS module enables fully automated tree-level simulations of quarkonium and leptonium production in non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD) and non-relativistic QED (NRQED), including both S-wave and P-wave states.
The framework incorporates complete colour, spin, and angular-momentum projectors, employs dual-number techniques for orbital angular-momentum projections, and ensures a consistent treatment of physical bound-state masses through the implementation of dedicated momentum reshuffling methods. It is fully compatible with standard MadGraph5_aMC@NLO features and UFO models, and produces LHE output suitable for interfacing with general-purpose Monte Carlo event generators.
