Description

Transverse-Momentum dependent Distributions (TMDs) are a key tool to build a 3-Dim tomography of hadrons in momentum space. I will illustrate what we currently know about (polarized) quark TMDs in both Nucleon and pion. I will discuss the potential impact and possible opportunities at future colliders, in particular at the upcoming Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), including the first attempts to perform phenomenological studies of the almost unknown gluon TMDs.
