On behalf of the organizing committee, I sincerely invite the research community and the industry active in metal oxide gas sensors from all over the world to attend the 10th GOSPEL Workshop to be held from September 2-4, 2026, in Tarragona, Spain.
GOSPEL is an international biennial research meeting dedicated to the R&D activities in the field of semiconductor metal oxide gas sensors. Its aim is to bring together academia and industry and help the latter to identify which of the new developments are the most relevant to it. The main topics of the workshop will be: new insights in sensing mechanisms; low dimensional metal oxides and manufacturing technologies; emerging applications; start-ups and spin-offs. GOSPEL is keen on organizing and hosting a round table addressing the needs of industry.
The topics of the GOSPEL workshop genuinely reflect the current trends, recent advances, and new approaches in the field of semiconductor metal oxide gas sensors. We intend the Workshop to become an opportunity for the cross-fertilization of ideas across the academic and industry worlds.
All conference sessions will be held at the Sescelades Science and Technology Campus of Universitat Rovira i Vrigili, a public, comprehensive university located in Tarragona, a town with many archeological jewels with a 2,000-year history. We look forward to having an extraordinary meeting with brilliant scientists and students from around the globe, ready to share their exciting results at the GOSPEL workshop.
