Type II Embeddings of 6D Einstein-Maxwell Gauged Supergravity

In this talk, I discuss how to uplift the Salam-Sezgin model to Type II using G-structure techniques. I start by reviewing the 6D theory and the necessary conditions for its solutions to preserve supersymmetry in terms of spinor bilinears. Then, under reasonable assumptions, we propose an ansatz for the 10D fields in terms of the 6D ones and an arbitrary 4D internal manifold. In this way, conditions to have supersymmetric solutions in 10D, assuming the 6D ones are satisfied, lead to differential constraints on the 4D manifold. At this point, one needs to consider two cases: if the 6D gauge field appears in the metric or not. I present different internal manifolds for both of this cases, and depending on the matter content present on the 6D theory.
