Description

The coupling of the EXOTIC facility with the AGATA γ-ray tracking array at the Laboratori Nazionali di Legnaro (LNL) has provided a powerful tool for studying nuclear structure and reaction mechanisms with light radioactive ion beams (RIBs).
In preparation for the EXOTIC-AGATA experimental campaign, a new beam-tracking system based on two large-area position-sensitive Micro Channel Plate (MCP) detectors has been developed.
Three experiments were performed using the EXOTIC–AGATA setup to measure the Coulomb excitation of $^8$Li on $^{109}$Ag, to study particle–γ correlations for the $^{7}$Be + $^{208}$Pb system at near-barrier energies and to investigate the isospin mixing in $^{12}$C by means of the $^{11}$C(d,p)$^{12}$C reaction.
In this contribution preliminary results from this experimental campaign will be presented.
