      Introduction

Flow chart and definition of the goals of the workshop.

    • 2
      Cryostat seed design

Main mecahnical components and the main numerical constraints of the cryostat are defined. (volumes, placeholders)

      Presentations and discussion are open.

    • 11:00
      Break
    • 3
      Cooling interface to the payload

The main elements of cooling interface that link the payload to the cryostat are defined according to a realistic seed scheme.
Both radiation (through emissivity) and conduction play a role.

The cooling model is not presented yet. The target is the definition of a mechanical scheme to be used for the successive step: the thermal simulation

      +10 min discussion

    • 4
Thermal Modelling OTS, ITS ,IITS, CPAY

Preliminary overall modelling of the cooling transient for OTS, ITS, IITS

      2-3 presentations and discussion

    • 13:00
      Lunch
    • 5
      Cleanliness

Definition of strategies for the cleanliness of the payload and its surroundings.

    • 6
      Safety

      Definition of :

      1. safety requirements for work in confined space (emergency exits);
      2. emergency operations for operators
