DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Giada Petringa (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nuclear
 e)\n\nThe Italian Society for Radiation Research (SIRR) is proud to announ
 ce the first international symposium it organizes\, which will be held on
  October 6th\, 2025\, in Catania\, Italy. This one-day event will focus on
  the prediction of biological damage through simulation\, bringing togethe
 r leading scientists working on Monte Carlo simulations\, radiobiological 
 modeling\, and radiation-matter interaction.\nThe morning session will fea
 ture a series of invited talks by internationally recognized experts\, inc
 luding contributions on Geant4\, Geant4-DNA\, FLUKA\, treatment planning s
 ystems\, and the latest activities at ESA. In the afternoon\, the symposiu
 m will be open to contributed presentations\, offering the opportunity for
  young researchers and established scientists alike to share their latest 
 findings and discuss open challenges in the field.\nThe abstract submissio
 n is now open\, and we warmly invite the scientific community to participa
