The Italian Society for Radiation Research (SIRR) is proud to announce the first international symposium it organizes, which will be held on October 6th, 2025, in Catania, Italy. This one-day event will focus on the prediction of biological damage through simulation, bringing together leading scientists working on Monte Carlo simulations, radiobiological modeling, and radiation-matter interaction.
The morning session will feature a series of invited talks by internationally recognized experts, including contributions on Geant4, Geant4-DNA, FLUKA, treatment planning systems, and the latest activities at ESA. In the afternoon, the symposium will be open to contributed presentations, offering the opportunity for young researchers and established scientists alike to share their latest findings and discuss open challenges in the field.
The abstract submission is now open, and we warmly invite the scientific community to participate actively in this exciting event.
