Brindisi airport (BDS) ~ 40 km from city centre
main companies (ITA SwissAir) in connection with Rome and Milan and low cost companies (Ryanair – Easyjet – Wizzair). -
Bari airport (BRI) at ~ 160 km is an alternative

Brindisi and Bari airports are connected via shuttle buses or trains see the official airport pages at https://www.aeroportidipuglia.it/ You can also book a private transfer via Agenzia Crusi.

by train: Lecce central station. Several fast trains per day run from Rome (~ 5.5 hr) and from Milan (~9.5 hr). See the official Trenitalia website.

by car: via A1 / A14 (highways and fast roads) from Rome 600 km, from Milan 1040 km.
