Description
We find general relations between the renormalization group equations and
planar unitarity-analyticity.
These relations are summarized in the meromorphization procedure,
generalizing the Pade'
approximation in the limit of infinite order.
We also investigate confinement conditions for the mass spectrum
in asymptotically free quantum field theory.
We work out explicit examples both in the asymptotically free case that
includes QCD, and in the conformal case
with conformal symmetry broken by an infinite number of condensates, that
matches some results obtained using
the AdS/CFT correspondence.
In both cases we get a theory of resonances with an infinite number of
masses.
